POSTGRADUATE STUDY IN SCIENCE COMMUNICATION AT STELLENBOSCH UNIVERSITY, SOUTH AFRICA

Science managers, policymakers and funders, and researchers themselves, increasingly recognise the value and importance of strategic and effective public communication of science, including targeted engagement and dialogue with society. Consequently, there is a growing need for science communication professionals who are able to take on the challenges and complexities of science and society engagements, as well as a new generation of researchers who can help to build an evidence base for effective science communication in specific contexts.

The MPhil (STS) programme at Stellenbosch University offers students the opportunity to focus on science communication and public engagement, with a course offering a blend of theory and practice. Find out more about the course structure, as well as how to apply, at https://www0.sun.ac.za/crest/students/mphil-sts-spe/

International students should apply by 31 August 2022, while the closing date for South African applicants is 30 September 2022.
