TIA Is Calling for the submission of funding applications for projects in natural resources

Technology Innovation Agency (TIA, organisation) an entity of the Department of Science andTechnology (DST) was established in terms of the TIA Act, 2008 (Act No. 26 of 2008), with theobjective to stimulate, intensify and exploit technological innovation to improve economic growthand the quality of life of all South Africans.

PURPOSE OF THE CALL

TIA is calling for the submission of funding applications for projects in the Natural Resources business unit, focusingprimarily on these sectors:Waste sector covering the following subsectors: - e-Waste and Waste beneficiationWater sector covering the following subsectors:- Acid Mine Drainage (AMD), Water purification, water savingand repairing water leakages.
