Referees should have fulfilled a leadership role or position of influence held in direct relationship to work assignments, job responsibilities, and to key roles in the projects or programme assigned. A referee should be a scientific mentor, co-worker or manager, preferably in your field of expertise. This person must at least be trained formally in your professional field of expertise or a related field of practice. A referee must be able to assess your scientific outputs.
